Chief conductor Marris Jansons conducts The Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra Amsterdam's second Barbican residency, with a trio of Bruckner's Symphonies. The programme for the opening night features Symphony No 4 paired with Mozart's Violin Concerto in G major (with soloist Frank Peter Zimmermann), the second night features Symphony No 7 combined with Haydn's Cello Concerto in C (with soloist Truls M?rk), and the last night comprises Symphony No 9 proceeded by Beethoven's Piano Concerto No 1 (with soloist Lars Vogt). The residency also includes six open masterclasses led by musicians from the orchestra.
