Marcello Magni

Work:: Marcello Magni (S02050210697)

Production:: Scratch - Arlecchino and Zanni (T01183003167)

Marcello Magni first scratched Arlecchino and Zanni at BAC as part of the 2002 London International Mime Festival. Marcello is a co-founder of the internationally acclaimed Complicite, and has also performed at the Shakespeare Globe and - most recently - at the Royal National Theatre in The Birds. Arlecchino and Zanni explores the title characters, the father and grandfather of all comedians. The story follows a narrator figure who crashes into characters of the world of commedia dell'arte - a world which inspires laughter and tears, where life is lived at its most intense: a whirlwind of anarchic joy.
