Soundings: The Watery Part of the World - Scratch

Soundings: The Watery Part of the World

Work:: Soundings: The Watery Part of the World (S0475805505)

After the critical success of War Music, performed in total darkness at BAC last year, Sound and Fury returns to studio 2 to open its sketchbook of new ideas. With a mix of live performance and pre-recorded sound effects, Sound and Fury embarks on a journey of stories inspired by the sea. Drawing on poetry and literature, from Moby-Dick to the Rime of the Ancient Mariner, and using music, startling sound design and total darkness, its storytelling travels the watery part of the world and fathoms the depths beneath.

CORONAVIRUS: All venues in the UK were shut down on March 16, 2020, and the restrictions were finally lifted on July 19, 2021. It is important to mention that the UK Theatre Web archive listings (iUKTDb) from March 2020 to July 2021 might not be accurate due to the lack of information regarding rescheduled and cancelled shows.
