Black Screen is rolling out for its third year. As part of this week long celebration of films Unity will host World Shorts Sharing the Screen on Tuesday 25 September. Presented in association with Kino film, this is a selection of the finest shorts from both sides of the Meridian. Wednesday 26 September sees the first Iranian Cinema night in Liverpool. There will be a screening if Blackboards, winner of the Prix de Jury at Cannes Film Festival in 2000 and described by The Observeras a 'masterly allegorical road movie - a film not to be missed'.
