The King of Spin

Work:: The King of Spin (S2137813481)

These are whirling times. The realm is going through a series of feverish convulsions; and now we seek some resolution. Two men - Richard Plantaganet, King of England; and Henry Tudor - have met here, in Bosworth Field, to decide the future of the Kingdom. This is the Game of Power. Where allegiances keep changing; where appearances are deceptive; where the gap between what is said and what is done yawns like the deepest chasm. And now sides have to be taken. There is no middle ground. This is a time of crisis. A moment when we must decide. All of us. The King of Spin is a large scale community performance taking place in marquees and locations across the Bosworth Field battle site. Enter into the canteen of Richards camp as breakfast is served; or find yourself being measured up for battle dress in Henry Tudor's camp, as the strategy for the battle is discussed. Take part in a live Question Time; cast your vote as part of the Merchant Class; or be attended to by the Barber Surgeons. This is a world full of larger than life characters; of messengers, secret police, and executioners. And you are invited to explore it with us.
