A strange cargo, an unexpected passenger, a violent wreck, and an enduring mystery. "It is very clear Miss Brown that the crew were frightened of something and that something was very real..." When a ship is wrecked in mysterious circumstances a gruesome discovery on board gives rise to two conflicting theories about what happened during the last ill-fated voyage of the Demeter. Inspired by myth, superstition, historical fact and Gothic fiction, this play by Halifax-based writer Berni Bertola was developed through the Icabod D-Visions project.
