Walk With Me Walk with Me Will Somebody Please Walk with Me

Work:: Walk With Me Walk with Me Will Somebody Please Walk with Me (S0924100434)

Production:: (T143321751)

For the past four years, Gregg Whelan and Gary Winters - Lone Twin - have walked through towns, cities and countryside across the United Kingdom, Estonia, Canada, Finland and Portugal, collecting experiences and distilling them into songs, movement, and narrative. Each walk, attended by audiences, might last as little as 45 minutes or as long as 18 hours, and always features interactions with water - water from rivers, streams and lakes, from the moisture of their breath and the sweat from their bodies. This piece uses the traces of these wanderings to from a warm and beautiful narrative. The places they've been, the people they've met and the stories they've heard - adventures are recounted and re-enacted with a seamless poetry interlinking their own thoughts and insights.
