Soprano Suzannah Clarke and tenor Bonaventura Bottone have been confirmed as the headline acts for Opera at the House at the inaugural Harewood Music Festival, a live, open-air, three-day music event which takes place over the weekend 4th - 6th June 2004. Thousands of people are expected to attend this fabulous event, which features opera, jazz and fireworks, in the beautiful grounds of Harewood House, near Leeds. Opera at the House is on the evening of Sunday 6th June and will be an enchanting evening of popular opera. Suzannah and Bonaventura will perform a three-hour programme of well-known opera classics in the company of the Opera North Orchestra and renowned conductor Anthony Ingles. A magical evening with a spectacular D-Day firework grand finale will make this event unmissable. Kicking off the festival in spectacular style on Friday 4th June, Jazz at the House will be a fantastic show with performances not to be missed. Top-of-the-bill is 19 year-old singing sensation Katie Melua with fantastic supporting acts including some of the jazz world's favourite performers - living legend George Melley, widely acclaimed Stacey Kent and Digby Fairweather and his Half Dozen - all singing and swinging the blues and a whole host of your favourites.
