In the Shadow was developed from initial research into alchemy - the power to transform base metals into gold. Reckless Sleepers' development of visual theatre and ingenious set designs is not less inspired in this unusual and intriguing evening. Set on a geometric grit, the four performers negotiate a world of gods, monsters and angels. Their actions in this strange reality have some effect elsewhere and they begin to see all too clearly into other worlds - maybe even into ours.
