Milo's adventures begin when he opens a large package and drives his small toy car through the tollbooth into a magical new world. He discovers the great argument between King Azaz of Dictionopolis and his brother the Mathe-magician of Digitopolis. In his adventure Milo also has to rescue the Princesses Sweet Rhyme and Pure Reason from the Land of Ignorance and he realises that his attitude to learning will never be the same again.
