A long time ago when the world was already old and the land covered with trees, a tinker and his daughter came to a clearing in a forest. The little girl was called Rowan. But one day as the tinker had gone to the nearby village to work, Rowan suddenly vanished. Desperate to find his daughter the tinker sets off on a journey helped along the way by a bird, a mole and a frog. Where did Rowan go? Will the tinker ever find her? Using actors, story telling and music, Mike Kenny's The Lost Child, based on the traditional folk tale, has been specially written to captivate and entertain children from 4 to 8 years old and their family and friends.
