In Orpheus' Mum, a little boy puts giant spiders in the washing basket, once even sticks a stone up the cat's bottom and generally drives his parents to despair. But Orpheus' music and pipes have very special magical powers. The second story tells of Savitri, a little girl who may be scared by Yama, the god of death, but is prepared to follow him over continents and through dangers to get her best friend back. The power of love over death and the strength of friendship, classic themes of fairytales the world over, combined with laughter and spellbinding storytelling make this a magical event.
