Ophelia is a shy, elderly prompt-lady who has spent all her years working in a theatre. When the theatre closes down, she has to leave. Ophelia makes room for one lonely shadow in her handbag and they set off together, becoming firm companions. Actors, shadows and puppets are elegantly interwoven into this wonderful story of friendship and compassion, dignity and self-esteem that will delight and move adults and children on many levels. Age 5-9. Running time 50mins.
