Welsh National Opera - Scenes from La Boheme

Work:: Welsh National Opera (S1215557773)

Company Welsh National Opera

Production:: Scenes from La Boheme (T768513201)

The world-renowned Welsh National Opera return to present an enchanting evening of opera and classical favourites that will entertain and delight opera lovers and newcomers alike. During the first half of a spectacular concert the Orchestra for Welsh National Opera will perform Mussorgsky's 'Night on a Bare Mountain' and 'Pictures at an Exhibition'. The second half will feature a specially adapted staging of scenes from Puccini's romantic opera La Bohème, which tells the story of Rodolfo and Marcello, two struggling artists in Paris. Rodolfo encounters Mimi when she knocks at his door seeking a light for her candle: it is love at first sight. La Bohème is the most romantic of romantic operas; one of the great weepies of the repertoire, its appeal is timeless. Why not join us and experience some of the most beautiful and moving music ever written?
