Prick Him and I Bleed - Rehearsed Reading

Work:: Prick Him and I Bleed (S1324346075)

Based on interviews with adult siblings of people with learning-disabilities and autism, and using their words, the play reveals the good, the bad, and the funny of their unique lives. We meet Frank, a 62 year old ex journalist, as he realises he has to take over the care of his twin brother. Can he take on the authorities to get what he wants for John? And what will he lose along the way? We also meet a chorus of younger siblings as they explore the complexities of this unspoken lifelong relationship: for all, a journey of intense love.

CORONAVIRUS: All venues in the UK were shut down on March 16, 2020, and the restrictions were finally lifted on July 19, 2021. It is important to mention that the UK Theatre Web archive listings (iUKTDb) from March 2020 to July 2021 might not be accurate due to the lack of information regarding rescheduled and cancelled shows.
