A Women's Voice

A Women's Voice

Work:: A Women's Voice (S01561178469)

Barbara Jefford, who recently garnered ecstatic reviews opposite Ralph Fiennes in Coriolanus and Geraldine McEwan, whose extraordinary stage and screen work ranges from The Prime of Miss Jean Brodie and Oranges Are Not the Only Fruit to Mapp and Lucia, present a delightful evening of poetry devised by Richard Digby Day, which includes some of the most memorable poems from a literature that, until the 1960's was largely ignored by anthologies and editions. The voices heard range from Queen Elizabeth 1 to Alice Meynell.
