Sharon's Grave is undoubtedly Keane's most extraordinary and mythic play. Set in County Kerry, in the West of Ireland, it tells the gripping tale of a man's ruthless lust for a piece of land and a house. Written over 40 years ago this compelling morality play deals with the forces of good and evil. Full of fantastic characters it reveals Keane's concerns about land, love, myth and Irish perceptions of the 1950s.
