The director of The Game and Fight Club returns with this dark thriller. Wealthy divorcee Meg Altman moves into a huge mansion with her daughter Sarah. During the first night in their new home, burglars break in, forcing them to make immediate use of the 'panic room'. (A domestic safe room where the residents can retreat in the case of attack is an actual phenomenon amongst rich Americans). With no working phone, mother and daughter are in quite a predicament, but worse still the intruders are actually after something that is stashed inside the panic room itself.
