Details

Read My Lips combines film noir with an offbeat romance between a deaf secretary and a down-at-heel thief. Carla is tired of being treated as a dogsbody at the property development company where her colleagues take the credit for her hard work. Salvation, or at least the chance of revenge, arrives in the form of her new assistant, ex-con Paul. Utilising her lip-reading skills, the duo hatch a scheme to rob violent nightclub-owner Marchand (Gourmet).
