A celebration of the beauty of lattice pattern tiling ancient and modern, exploring the roots of form. Centred on the concept of symmetry and it's recurrence in natural man - made and abstract forms, the project aims to reconstruct some of the intricate and fascinating tiling of mediaeval Spain, and to illuminate their historical and mathematical significance. The main exhibition will show this work in progress, featuring vivid panels of handmade ceramic tiles with explanatory text and illustrations, plus a display of craft equipment.Other listings | |
