Ian can't run away with his legs, so he's decided to run away with his mind. At the end of his life, he seeks refuge in a world of dreams and memories... perhaps returning to imagination, like you did at the beginning, is the only way forward while you're propelled backwards. dream//life looks at what the nature of dreams and memories are. If you were completely locked in, stuck in a body which you hardly own any longer, what might that do to those dreams?
