The first UK visit of the astonishing Australian aerial performance construction company Bambuco. Using techniques from modern rock climbing and bamboo jointing methods from south-east Asian scaffolding. Bambuco's daredevils assemble a soaring structure on the banks of the Manchester Ship Canal. This massive temporary sculpture will take 10 days to construct (Wed Jul 17 - Fri Jul 26) and then Salford-based pyrotechnic pioneers Walk the Plank will animate the structure with performers, fire, fireworks, light and sound on Sun Jul 28 at 22:00 Reach...Crossing Seas, Building Bridges website.
