Reasons to be Cheerful

Work:: Reasons to be Cheerful (S1265124064)

Reasons to be Cheerful is based on the memoir of political comedian Mark Steele - with a very Scottish twist by writer Martin McCardie (Tinsel Town). The play is an uplifting chronicle of three people who journey through the years of Thatcher, the dawn of new Labour and the murky world of party politics we now find ourselves in. Brought together years later they are forced to ask each other if all the shouts were falling on deaf ears. Is it time to put away your Clash albums and get real or stick to your guns and fight on? With a rollicking soundtrack from the past thirty years, this is a thoughtful, passionate and hilarious story that will light your spark (or rekindle one that never quite went out).
