Mince?

Work:: Mince? (S0450710777)

Life, love and luxuriously lush lounge sounds. Donald Johnston writes jingle for TV ads, his most famous being the McKinnon's Tinned Mince campaign. He is handsome talented, successful, but losing the plot. The music with which he make his living is turning against him. His easy-listening imagination is taking control and he finds himself slipping into a fantasy world where all the mistakes of his life are played out in song. Jaunted by his past, tormented by his future, and finding it impossible to live in the present, ex-girlfriends, dead relatives and an assortment of alter-egoes all vie for attention in the form of a swinging, 'music for pleasure' ensemble, in his head. Dr Jessica Craig a new age, cyber-therapist, with the aid of the latest computer technology, sifts through these mad musical memories to try to lay them to rest. Will this radical process allow Donald to come to terms with his losses, so he can enjoy life and love again? And at what cost? Join her on this jingly journey inside the mind of Donald Johnston...a man whose head is full of Mince, in more ways than one.
