Work:: DOT 504 Dance Company (S0759038345)
Production:: Holdin' Fast (T0512187156)
Three couples in changing possibilities of sexual relationships. A dream of desire and dependency, where dancers´ bodies fall under the pressure of the other, to bear testimony to passion, dynamics and the intensity of relationships. A dreamy ballad of sexual dependency is presented by the DOT504 Dance Company from Prague, Czech Republic. Immerse yourself into the deepest visions of sexual fantasy, search for the physical and psychical possibilities of the human body. This performance, which combines contemporary physical dance with theatrical forms, was created in 2007 for a six-member company by Jozef Frucek (Slovakia) and Linda Kapetanea (Greece) – RootlessRoot Company, ex-members of Wim Vandekeybus’ company Ultima Vez. The individual styles of both choreographers merge into the single choreographic gesture of Jozef Frucek’s mature direction and scenic writing and Linda Kapetanea’s sense for contact improvisation, with the original music by Czech composer Ivan Acher.
