Dave O’Higgins twice winner of Best Tenor Saxophonist in the British Jazz Awards while American Eric Alexander was runner up at the prestigious Thelonious Monk Institute Saxophone Competition in 1991 and has since recorded over 60 albums. They first played together in 2008 and have already undertaken two European tours. For this third tour they’ll be supported by the Danish drummer, Kristian Leth, Arnie Somogyi bass and Andrew McCormack piano. You can expect some roaring two tenor blowing in the time-honoured tradition of Gene Ammons and Sonny Stitt or our own Ronnie Scott and Tubby Hayes.
