A woman watches London grow around her. An Architect imagines a building that will change the city forever. A man pulls his house behind him like a shell on his back. In Regeneration Write By Numbers combine stories of both the real and the imaginary city around us to explore the complicated mix of economics, faith, and aspiration that go into the place we call 'home'. Having recently finished touring their award-winning walking story Beneath the Albion Sky, WBN return to their home city with a work-in-progress showing of their new play inspired by their own experience of some of London's recent regeneration projects. Gift to my Little Brother (working title) by Zinzi Minott Gift to my Little Brother is a response to the video work of artist Nikolaj Bendix Skyum Larsen which looks at the relevance of the voice - singular and collective, celebrated and silenced - in the localities neighbouring Tate Modern. The work features a young Black man who presents the difficulties and consequences of his identity through interview and performance.
