Wo(w)man - T01294159874Play on Words, play on Roles. Three Women. Three identities that fuse-melt into each other, they are in fact one unique entity: the body, the mirror and the shadow of one person. They are metaphors that represent the different facets of the womanhood. A journey in a kaleidoscopic world, where the three entities have fun of themselves, they put themselves in the game; a world in which revealing their own fragilities, emotions and sensitivity could mean to be strong. The piece portrays the woman as a model of Mankind, as a human being therefore the opposite of sex can also be represented. A surprising woman that appears with different roles that con/fuse and become playful in order to comprehend herself; roles that she can also use to confide her own “masculinity”. A woman that can allow herself to reveal her own unique essence.Choreographer Eleonora Mercatali. Performer Hannah Buhler (Germany). Performer Lena Kimming (Sweden).
