Conceived by Aurelien Bory for the extraordinary Japanese dancer Kaori Ito, Plexus is a "jewel of optical theatre" (Le Monde) presented by Sadler's Wells and London International Mime Festival. Entrapped by five thousand cords, a forest of brilliantly lit strings, a warrior-woman conquers her environment so that she floats, like a black angel, in a sumptuous cage that she can only leave by vanishing completely.
