Ghosts - T2078792801

In Ibsen's poignant drama Ghosts the past returns to haunt the present. With this as her inspiration, choreographer Cathy Marston creates a narrative dance world where ghosts have more vitality than the living. Characters absent from the play take centre stage in a setting with more moving images evocative of the work's Norwegian roots and in an atmospheric layered score of live and recorded music. In her first full-evening work for ROH2 Marston explores themes from her own earlier work - the pressure of the past lies and actions upon the present; choices and obligations faced by the women in society.Performer Jenny Tattersall (Regina). Performer Charlotte Broom (Mrs Alving). Performer Alexandrea Campbell (Helena - Young Mrs Alving). Performer Patrick Delcroix (Pastor). Performer Omar Gordon (Oswald). Performer Christopher Akrill (Captain). Performer Martina Langmann (Johanna).
