The Man Who Committed Thought

Work:: The Man Who Committed Thought (S01563073639)

Channel 4 'In Exile'/RSC actor Patrice Naiambana combines the humorous storytelling style of African theatre and his experience with Theatre de Complicite to tell the story of an African lawyer who embarks on a dangerous search for truth in war torn post-colonial Lion Mountain. Mamadou the determined peasant fearlessly seeks justice for his beloved cow, is it all in vain? The Man Who Committed Thought is a quirky ode to all those who have dared to think and act on thoughts of freedom thereby challenging ignorance and oppression. It is a highly literate physical theatre piece inspired by the courage and humour of the citizens of Sierra Leone.
