Set on Tyneside, In Limbo is about growing up, facing choices and seeing a future. The 'big' questions about life, death and love are encountered by David through his friendship with Kev and his elderly aunt. She tells David stories about the war and her love affair with a soldier. One day she shows him a wooden box. Inside is a secret. Something that later on he and Kev will have to deal with.
