Raised in Montmartre, with a father that would jam in St Germain des Pres with Sydney Bechet, Anne Pigalle is the only solo French singer to have ever signed a recording contract with a British label Anne raconte en chansons her unusual story within the history of Cabaret . She regularly holds salons in Soho and discusses naughty poetry. Hailed by the French press as the illegitimate daughter of Piaf and Gainsbourg, Anne has sung all over the world including Japan, the last Tuareg festival au desert held in Timbuktu, Mexico and the USA.
