Handel's famous oratorio - the story of Jesus' life told in magnificent music.
Music Handel

Production:: (T0804600580)

The spirit of Bristol Proms is essential to the staging of this four-night run of Messiah; Bristol Proms rules apply, the standing pit returns, and the glorious Erebus Ensemble will lead a cast of actors and musicians conducted by renowned opera and concert conductor Harry Bicket under the direction of Tom Morris. During the Proms concert, Tom Morris experimented with radical staging of a kind rarely seen in classical performance. Performers and audience inhabited the same intimate space, while a heightened theatricality made Handel's greatest work fizz with accessibility.
