They wanted War and War is what they got. The Trojan War is over, ten long years. Agamemnon the warrior is returning home. With him, his prize, Cassandra, a slave devoted and damned with vision and insight. Awaiting him, Clytemnestra, his Queen, full of grief, gnawed by the depleted populous of Argos. So, the beacons are lit, the Watchman waits, dog-like to fulfill Aeschylus' profound and devastating prophecy
