A whole day of Hancock in MAC's Hexagon Theatre - episodes of Hancock's Half Hour, special guests who knew and worked with Hancock and much more besides, all in celebration of the Birmingham-born comic Tony Hancock. The programme also includes a special tribute in memory of Sid James to mark the 25th anniversary of his death and a celebration of the work of Galton and Simpson. The Tony Hancock Appreciation Society will also present a display of Hancock's stage appearances together with an exhibition of Hancock's memorabilia from the Society's own collection.
