The Pied Piper

Work:: The Pied Piper (S01669609424)

Production:: (T0824949261)

It's Panto time again, "Oh Yes It Is" and this year Spittal Variety Group have gone for a less commonly performed Pantomime The Pied Piper. It still remains one of the traditional fables, but updated with all the usual pantomime slapstick and commotion. Dame Helga is the local sausage maker and pig farmer, helped by her sons Willie & Hans, in a town overrun by rats, controlled by Rat Worst and Sour Kraut. Pippin the Pied Piper appears and leads the rats out of town with his pipe music. But it's not plain sailing for the villagers, however, as usual good eventually triumphs over evil and with a little help from Fairy Strudel all is well again in the village of Hamelin.
