Details

Rising 200 feet above the Thames, the concrete cube of the Lyttelton flytower is a dramatic presence on the South Bank skyline. Visible from various points around the Thames and the National, Marie Jose Burki's film projection will punctuate London's night time horizon. This is the first newly commissioned work for outdoor projection to be shown at the National. Burki's film reflects a sense of London back at us through its portraits of people who live and work along the Thames. The soundtrack to Time After Time Along the River will be broadcast on Fourth Wall FM - so that passers-by can experience the work.
