Dennis hopes to sell his car, and thinks he's found a buyer when the hapless Neil turns up seeking a birthday present for his wife. Negotiations don't quite go according to plan. The events by turn are hilarious and harrowing. They take place in Dennis's garage on a series of birthdays over the next year. The consequences will change their lives.
