Cabaret (New Wimbledon Theatre, Outer London)
4 Catherine Aylward
21st Sep 17: A powerful rendition of a popular musical. Louise Redknapp can certainly sing, she has an amazing voice did the songs justice. However, it was a shame she didn't dance, I would have expected that in her big numbers. I also felt she didn't quite capture the tragic vulnerability of Sally Bowles. Will Young really made up for everything in the show. He was truly amazing in the role, his facial expressions, voice, acting and dancing were all captivating. All in all a fantastic show, a must see.

The Revlon Girl (Park Theatre, Inner London)

29th Jul 17: An absolutely amazing performance! We cried uncontrollable tears and then effortlessly laughed out loud! Such a fantastic, genius portrayal of a vitally essential part of Welsh history, or rather, everyone's history, as told by the actors who perfectly represented the voices of the brave, devastated and broken mums, voices that haven't been heard or represented - Bravo guys, a fantastic show! I didn't want it to end! A must-see performance!

Gypsy (New Wolsey Theatre, Ipswich)

24th Jun 17: Clunky production. Very amateurish. Yes I know it's an amateur production but slick it ain't. Far too ambitious and far too long. It had it's moments but not enough to save it from being toe curling awful at times. Rose just couldn't belt out the hits although her acting was good.
